From 1st April 2023, the new board of directors, Tibetan Secretary, and Accountant took charge of the office with a traditional handing over ceremony blessed by the presence of His Eminence Khen Rinpoche of the monastery, Discipline head, chant master, representative of 16 khangtsens and former administrative staff.
The 17th administration of Drepung Gomang Monastic Administrative office, the head office of Drepung Gomang Monastery. The administration tenure is a three-year term from 1st April 2023 and will be headed by Geshe Monlam Gyatso, (chief administrator), Tulku Lobsang Yarphel Rinpoche (abbot of Gomang Gadhan Kunkyop Ling Buddhist Monastery, Nanital HP), Geshe Lobsang Jampa (Director), Geshe Gedun Phuntsok (Gomang house Director), Geshe Kalsang Gyatso (Director), Geshe Kalsang Paljor (Director), Geshe Tenzin Khendak (Director), Geshe Tsetan Namgyal (Director), Geshe Lobsang Nyendak (Director), Geshe Sopa Gyatso (Tibetan Secretary) and Geshe Tsultrim Dhargyal (accountant)
Mr. Tenzin Wangyal (Chief Accountant) and Mr. Migmar Tsering (English Secretary) continue to serve in their respective posts.
