On 15th Nov 2023, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of the Indian State of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Pema Khandu la made a visit to Drepung Gomang Monastery, a warm welcome was extended by the Administration to the Hon'ble Chief Minister and the entourage.
At the debate courtyard, the Hon'ble Chief Minster witnessed the ongoing debate session, His Eminence Khen Rinpoche, the Abbot of Drepung Gomang Monastery Geshe Jigme Gyatso offered traditional khatak to Shri Pema Khandu la and a special souvenir from his State was offered to the Abbot.
