Started on the 15th day of the first month of the Tibetan Lunar Calendar, the auspicious occasion of Chotrul duchen. In observance of the Year of Gratitude to His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama, Drepung Gomang Monastery under the initiative headed by His Eminence Khen Rinpoche has started a virtual program on Basic Buddhism for youngsters and for those interested.
As requested by the monastery, His Eminence Kyabje Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche gave teachings on the basics of Buddhism as the observance of the Year of gratitude to H.H.the 14th Dalai Lama as coordinated by Drepung Gomang Monastery.
Venerable Tulkus/Lamas and learned scholars/masters/geshes will be also taking part in the series of virtual programs in days to follow and will be teaching Buddhism.
